Pertik was founded in 1957 by Veikko and Maija Tikkanen to serve the Finnish metal industry. Mr. Tikkanen's knowledge of both the workshop floor and sales lead Pertik from the humble beginning to become one of Finlands leading tool distributors. During the years Pertik has increased its product range, and acquired a full range of products and goods skills to service the industry's needs.

Pertik's method of operation is to import and stock its suppliers items. The goods are imported to Pertik's stock in Finland from which they are sold forward to the customers. The fast deliveries are based on Pertik's role as a tool room for its customers and thus enable them to free their resources and capital for their primary functions.

The core of our operations is fast and knowledgeable service and excellent products. We are proud of our high degree of service, we can deliver over 90% of our products to the customers by the next day. We have chosen to represent innovative tool manufacturers from Switzerland, Israel, Germany and USA. Our main product categories are cutting tools, standard parts and saw blades.
